Ingredients:
- 1 pound pf linguine
- 5 cups of chopped ripe tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 thinly sliced onion
- ½ thinly sliced red or yellow bell pepper
- 2 cups of anchovy paste
- 4 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1/3 cup of chopped black olives
- 1 ½ tablespoons of capers
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil
- 1 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/3 cup Italian parsley
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
Directions:
Cook the linguini according to package directions. Set aside.
Pour the olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, and bell pepper. Allow the ingredients to cook for three minutes or until the onion is tender.
